Euspeech is a people-to-people exchange program centered on host family mutual learning and integration, enabling global youth to break prejudices, learn languages, experience cultures, and build cross-border friendships through real shared living.
Message
The world today is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century. Competition is intensifying, social anxiety is widespread, and some biased or even inaccurate media coverage is causing negative psychological impacts on young people, creating divides and prejudices. To enhance genuine mutual understanding among youth from different countries, many governments have invested heavily in scholarships to support foreign youth in learning languages and cultures for free. However, government efforts alone are ultimately limited. Only by rallying social empathy and grassroots efforts can we drive this noble cause forward. It is with this belief that we launched the Euspeech International Language and Culture Learning and Exchange Program, opening a door for global youth to reach authentic mutual understanding every year. We affectionately call the young people who participate in this experiential exchange 'Euspeech'.
Definition
In the program, a foreign Euspeech moves into a volunteer host family: the family provides free accommodation, meals, and daily life and learning support, while the Euspeech uses their native language to create an all-day, immersive language environment and cultural atmosphere for the family. They learn from and inspire each other, growing together. The host family treats the Euspeech as a temporary family member, not an employee, allowing them to naturally integrate into daily family life. The family must provide the Euspeech with a fully furnished independent room and leave sufficient free time to ensure deep language and culture learning. Through this, the Euspeech program enables young people from various countries to experience real life in their host country, genuinely feel the warmth and depth of local culture, and develop the most intuitive and profound resonance with different civilizations, races, and beliefs. This program not only broadens the paths for international language and cultural exchange but also sows countless precious and warm seeds of friendship and generational bonds among people of all nations.
